• Verify product integrity at sub-assembly and final assembly using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers).
• Go beyond entry-level tasks—tackle more varied, complex work that requires broader product knowledge.
• Perform repair/rework on units or sub-assemblies to meet specification.
• Maintain responsibility for quality, workmanship, and adherence to company production standards.
• Complete basic equipment/process set-ups to keep operations running smoothly.
• Spot, document, and report issues in materials, tooling, machinery, and processes.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis on defects; communicate findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
• Carry out all baseline duties expected of an entry-level inspector.
• Apply the Four-Level Defect Grading System to proactively surface and resolve quality concerns.
• Champion safety practices and 5S principles—keep a clean, orderly work area.
• Support "other duties as assigned" with a solution-oriented mindset.

• High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in assembly or testing of inline manufacturing assemblies.
• Comfortable reading safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; able to follow written instructions in English.
• Fluent with basic math and units of measure (weight, volume, distance); able to read simple sketches and shop drawings.
• Capable of operating the equipment and tools required for the job.
