About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 45-bed Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 4-5 patients per nurse on both day and night shifts
• Manage cardiac drips and cardiac catheters in accordance with unit protocols
• Perform chest tube management, wound care, and administration of TPN/lipids
• Utilize cardiac monitoring equipment, lifts, and Dynamap devices as part of routine patient care
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians in a team-oriented environment

• Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility) in the state of Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of overall nursing experience

• Cardiac and/or ICU experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

• Work with a well-staffed, experienced team on a unit equipped with new lift equipment and iMobile technology
