About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in a Level One Trauma facility License: Kentucky or compact nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - PC/AC/Tele/Med Surg experience - Ability to float to other universal/progressive areas Description: Caring for Med/Surg patients in a stepdown unit. Every other weekend required. Must have experience working in a Level One Trauma facility. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted. There is no block scheduling. Any requests for full weeks off between May and August will not be approved. Rehire eligibility will be checked before any offer is finalized. Candidates must be aware of their previous work history with the facility. Certain restrictions on licensure hits apply. Modules and training may be required during orientation. Transitional support may be provided for candidates floating to an affiliate.
