Assistant Manager PositionWe are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join the Tailwind team! As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly. You will work closely with the General Manager to oversee staff, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and safe environment. Your ultimate goal will be to help us achieve our business objectives while providing an outstanding experience for our guests.Tailwind encourages Veterans and Military family members to apply!Responsibilities to Include but are not Limited to:Partners with the GM to lead a rock star teamEnsure that all staff members are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties effectivelyMaintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff, adhering to all health and safety regulationsAssist in scheduling staff in their work assignmentsHandle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional mannerResponsible to monitor as well as take action to make sure food quality service standards are metResponsible for verifying temperatures, judging appearance as well as taste of products, checking preparation methods to define qualityMinimizing loss misuseEnsure safe, responsible and legal serving of all alcoholic beveragesEnsure that equipment is maintained as outlined in the restaurant safety and preventive maintenance programEnsure stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering as well as retrieving supplies plus stocking by stooping, bending, lifting heavy articles reaching overheadQualifications:Capable of working in a standing position for long periods of timeCapable of reaching, bending, and frequently lifting up to 50 poundsSome weekend days are required as well as mornings and eveningsRequirements:Must be able to pass background checkManagement background in Food and BeverageStrong kitchen and grill experienceMust have reliable transportationBenefits:PTOPaid trainingEmployee discount401k with company matchingHealth, Dental and Vision offered to Full time employees.Tailwind Concessions is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
