Heart & Lung Physician Assistant
Improving the Health of the People in the Communities We Serve Heart & Lung Physician Assistant Fort Worth, TEXAS Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full-time opening for a Heart & Lung Physician Assistant with critical and acute care experience to join a team providing comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions affecting the heart, lungs and esophagus. Our surgeons offer complete diagnosis and treatment for a full range of heart and lung conditions, from the most basic to advanced and complex. Position Details: Full time 40 hours per week Pre-Post Op Consultation and Care along with Hospital rounding Electronic Medical Records Assessing patient's needs and establishing plan of care Competitive Salary, plus comprehensive benefits package including CME Malpractice and 401K
Requirements Needed to Apply:
- Active Texas license
- Physician Assistant Board Certification and Experience
- Acute and Critical Care experience
- Degree in PA studies from an approved physician assistant program
- 1-3 years of Heart & Lung experience preferred
Qualifications
Education Master's Degree Physician Assistant Req Experience 1 Year As a Physician Assistant. Pref Licenses and Certifications PA - Physician Assistant Must maintain board certification as required for licensure. Upon Hire Req Skills Active listening and learning, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgment and decision making. Supervision Individual Contributor ADA Requirements Working Indoors 67% or more Mechanical Hazards 1-33% Electrical Hazards 1-33% OSHA Tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Physical Demands Light Work
