Nurse Manager - RN - Assisted Living

Overview RN AL Manager – 9a-5pm (must be flexible). Assisted Living Experience needed. Location: Marycrest in Livonia, MI. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Nurse Manager (RN) to join our team. Responsibilities Leadership: Lead by example and inspire your team to provide the best care possible. Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Patient Care: Ensure that patients receive top-notch care and support. Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes. Team Development: Mentor and support your nursing staff, helping them grow in their careers and ensuring they have the tools and resources they need to succeed. Administrative Duties: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications Current Michigan RN license. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role. Previous experience working with the geriatric population preferred; must have 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity. Experience in an assisted living, hospital, long-term care environment, or other related healthcare facility preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dedication to delivering exceptional patient care. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN program. Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in this state. Must possess and maintain current CPR Certification. Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines. Must lead by example and possess superior customer service skills and professionalism. Flexibility to adapt to ongoing change and work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. Interpersonal skills to drive collaboration and productivity when working with cross-functional teams, customers and end users. Self-starter, highly motivated with high energy level.
