Role Description & Responsibilities:The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a strategic business partner to functional and operational leaders, providing financial insights, analytics, and decision support that drive performance and profitability. This role goes beyond traditional reporting to proactively influence strategy, optimize resource allocation, and translate data into actionable business recommendations.The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with advanced analytical capabilities and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilitiies:Strategic Business PartnershipAct as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, supporting strategic planning and operational decision-makingPartner with department heads to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans aligned with company objectivesProvide financial guidance on pricing, investments, cost optimization, and growth initiativesChallenge assumptions and offer data-driven recommendations to improve business outcomesSupport leadership with scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for key strategic initiativesBusiness Analytics & InsightsDevelop advanced financial and operational models to analyze performance drivers and profitabilityIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities through deep analysis of financial and operational dataCreate dashboards and KPIs that enhance visibility into business performanceConduct variance analysis and clearly communicate root causes and corrective actionsLeverage data visualization tools and analytics platforms to improve reporting and insight deliveryTranslate complex data into concise executive-level insights and presentationsPerformance ManagementLead recurring business reviews and performance discussions with stakeholdersEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)Drive accountability through performance tracking of measurable financial targetsContinuously improve financial processes, analytics capabilities, and reporting automationQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)5–8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, business analytics, or related fieldDemonstrated experience supporting senior business leadersAdvanced financial modeling and Excel expertiseExperience with ERP systems and planning tools (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Adaptive, Anaplan, etc.)Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)Strong understanding of data analytics, KPI development, and performance metricsAbility to work with large datasets and synthesize insights quickly
