Accounting Administrator – General Accounting Job Summary The Accounting Administrator supports dealership accounting operations, including vehicle inventory and account reconciliation. This role helps ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance while providing administrative support to leadership across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities Inventory Data Management: Accurately input new and used vehicle inventory into our system, assign stock numbers, and update status codes. Record Reconciliation: Compare digital records against physical documents to identify discrepancies in inventory or accounts payable schedules. Digital Filing & Maintenance: Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems to ensure all financial documents are easily retrievable for audits. Administrative Support: Assist the Controller and management team with general clerical tasks, data cleanup projects, and month-end reporting. Qualifications Basic knowledge of dealership accounting preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency in Google Docs and dealership systems (Dealertrack preferred) Pay & Schedule Starting at $16.00/hour (Rate is negotiable based on prior automotive experience) Monday- Friday Performance evaluations conducted annually PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
