Underwriting Analyst II

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Underwriting Analyst II will be responsible for underwriting merchant accounts, verifying and validating merchant data, and determining account approval while collaborating with external agents and internal teams. Key responsibilities Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing merchant applicants' relevant history and records to assess suitability Determining the level of risk and security needed for merchant account approval Communicating with outside agents and responding to internal and external requests related to merchant applications Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required 3-5 years of experience in the payment industry Proficiency in Microsoft products, particularly Excel Strong analytical and research skills Ability to work autonomously while managing shifting priorities
