Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in San Antonio, TX. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in an acute hospital setting. This role involves inpatient rehab and acute care practice, including neuro and orthopedic patient evaluations and treatments, and care across ortho, telemetry and ICU populations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Texas Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. No temporary licenses allowed.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation and/or hospital acute care required.
• Experience with inpatient neuro and orthopedic OT evaluations and treatments.
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation preferred.
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
• Ability and willingness to float to other units as needed per facility floating policy.
• Ability to work scheduled weekend shifts as required by unit staffing.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in rehab and/or acute hospital settings.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Additional certifications such as NDT or brain injury specialty are preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00-17:00.
• Scheduled weekend requirement: two weekend shifts per month with a weekday off.
• Start time no later than 08:00 a.m.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.
• Floating required as needed to support patient care across units.
