Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Cardiac ICU Nurse!

Job Description:

- Join a dynamic team in a Cardiac ICU with 30 beds dedicated to critical care.
- Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
- Flexible self-scheduling with shifts organized 6 weeks in advance.
- Experience a 1:1 to 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, with 90% of the time at 1:2.
- Float to various telemetry or med-surg units as the first to float.
- Engage in a fast-paced environment caring for fresh open heart patients and mixed ICU cases.
- Mandatory proctored Dysrhythmia Test on your first day-it's a PASS/FAIL test, so be prepared!
- Must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays.
- Collaborate with Hospitalist 24/7 and have access to RT and Pharmacy services.
- Enjoy a supportive team environment with a Charge Nurse present (no patient assignment for the Charge Nurse).
- Use Cerner for charting to streamline your documentation process.

Required Certifications:

- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- PALS
