Line Cook
Royal Melbourne Country Club
Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients. Ensure food is prepared quickly and efficiently during service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work area. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to kitchen management. Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Properly store food and label ingredients. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred. Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
