This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearance.Designs, develops and implements industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, prototype model production and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements. May use CAD/CAM to design tools.Basic QualificationsProven experience leading cross‑functional, multi‑disciplinary teams.Demonstrated success delivering complex, multi‑year projects on schedule.Background in aircraft tooling.Desired SkillsStrong communication and influencing skills across senior leadership, and technical peers.Experience overcoming resistance to change.Expertise in aircraft tooling design and LM Aero tooling processes.Proficiency with engineering PLM systems.Familiarity with Model‑Based Engineering (MBE) principles and their application to tooling.Familiarity with determinate assembly concepts and practices.Experience establishing and moderating Communities of - Practice or similar knowledge‑sharing forums.Exposure to digital transformation (DX) initiatives.Background in long‑term strategy development and roadmap execution.Expertise in creating and maintaining detailed project schedules.Expertise in developing, documenting, and sustaining standard work.Experience influencing enterprise‑wide standards and governance structures.Pay InformationGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States.
