Service Technicians perform thorough maintenance on all ages of equipment, with the ability to accurately diagnose heating and air conditioning system issues. You must be able to recognize potential breakdown issues before they happen and make the appropriate recommendations to the customer. You must also be comfortable asking for money and deliver excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform skilled maintenance and service on HVAC systems, including duct work
• Submit customer invoices via company iPad, correctly documenting customer equipment information, diagnostics, and all recommended repairs.
• Perform proper maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems that prevents systems from breaking down and provide safety and comfort for our clients.
• Communicate options to clients for maintenance, repairs, and replacement, IAQ, and insulation
• Ability to speak and maintain professionalism to customers, team members, and vendors.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain attendance based on business needs.
• Ensure new/returning customers' concerns are addressed and handled appropriately, timely, and in an accurate manner.
• Ability to manage stress, difficult, or emotional customer situations.
• Operating company vehicles, and you will be expected to follow all state and federal laws, as well as maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicles.
• Safety responsibilities & requirements will be provided in training, and no tolerance will be accepted for disregard of safety instructions.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, hand tools, and all other test equipment utilized in the trade.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• HVAC Certified/EPA
• 1+ years of HVAC experience
• IAQ Experience (preferred)
• Clean driving record
• Time management skills
• Basic software understanding
• Self-motivation
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• The ability to use various hand and power tools common to trade
• The ability to learn through observation and hands on experience
• The ability to follow routine, verbal, and written instructions
• The ability to communicate with team members and customers effectively
• Being capable of maintaining professional working relationships with team members
• The ability to understand, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, etc.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical functions

• Service Titan experience
• Basic Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) knowledge and experience
• Sales experience
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. The employee must be comfortable working in tight spaces for an extended period of time in attics and crawl spaces as needed. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation & Hours

• Hourly + Commissions (this position offers commission on equipment sales, IAQ sales, and insulation sales)
• $12.50/hr + 8% commission (minimum of $500/week)
• Our maintenance and service technicians are averaging $1,500 - $2,200+ / week
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
• Days: Monday - Friday with on call rotation, including weekends
