Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems sector is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Associate Mechanical Engineer to join the Sentinel program in Roy, UT or Manhattan Beach, CA . This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You'll Get To Do This position will support the Sentinel Program's Command Systems Hardware Design Integration team. This position will join a team of Mechanical, Electrical and Hardware Integration engineers to design hardware systems and components. Responsibilities will include: Apply ASME standard processes and procedures to identify, design, and procure electrical and mechanical hardware. Support design of integrated assemblies in accordance with decomposed requirements, compliance documents, and architecture diagrams in order to support the Sentinel critical design review campaign. Assist in trade studies, Analysis of Alternatives, and create design artifacts to include 3-dimensional models and product definition packages which will be documented and released using Siemens-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and modeling (NX) tools.
