Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) with required weekend coverage every other weekend.

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry to join our float pool. The float pool RN will provide care across various acute care and telemetry units, including behavioral health and respite. Candidates must be comfortable with floating and managing diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a float pool capacity.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively.
• Administer medications and perform timely assessments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.
• Ensure timely documentation in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Current RN license and certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with telemetry and managing orthopedic and neurological patients is essential.
• Candidates must pass a fill-in-the-blank tele test during orientation.
