Construction Manager

Ramboll is a global architecture, engineering, and consultancy company. We are seeking a Construction Manager for the Project Management Group in Albany, NY. Job Description As our new Construction Manager, you will be part of our Project Management Group based out of Albany, NY. Your key responsibilities will be: Assist in development of plans, schedules, and work alongside other superintendents, supervisors, administrators on project related activities. Actively works with the Senior Construction Manager in the management of the overall project construction scope, schedule, and budget. Responsible for leadership of the on-site project team management for smaller scale projects. Responsible for subcontractor contract management in coordination with the Senior Construction Manager. Assist Senior Construction Manager and Project Management teams with the change order process including proper notification, supporting data gathering/organization development for Project Manager review and processing. Participates actively in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite. Serve as Project Site Safety Leader (in absence of full time EHS Supervisor). Estimates cost of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to successfully manage change during a project. Assists in planning the execution of the startup, commissioning, and closeout processes. Adheres to the policies and standards set forth in our quality management practices. Ability to read plans/drawings/specifications and interpret data. Construction sequencing and planning, construction scheduling/durations, safety planning, means and methods. Local Travel of 10%. OSHA 30‑hour Construction Safety Certification (preferred) OSHA 40‑hour Hazwoper Certification (preferred) Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. No sponsorship is available for this position. Salary Transparency At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $80,000 and $100,000. Actual pay may vary based on experience, location, and other factors.
