Who We AreKLINGER GPI was established through the 2020 acquisition of West Texas based Gasket & Packings, Inc., and the 2023 merger with KLINGER's gasket manufacturing facility located in Houston, Texas.KLINGER GPI is well positioned to provide industrial facilities with a comprehensive range of fluid sealing products and services, through our 3 physical Texas locations.KLINGER GPI manufactures and supplies a comprehensive range of fluid sealing and control products; including static and dynamic sealing products, valves, instrumentations, expansion joints and hoses, fasteners, hydraulic bolt tightening equipment and supplementary MRO products.In addition, our accredited in-house and mobile facilities provide tool calibration and equipment repair services to suit any calibration schedule requirements.Role SummaryAs a Customer Service Representative I, you’ll help customers get the right gasket and sealing solutions by providing accurate, timely support from first inquiry through order completion. This entry-level role is designed to help you launch your career by developing strong order-entry, quoting, and customer communication skills in an industrial environment.Key responsibilities include:- Prepare quotes, enter orders, and maintain records in Epicor P21 and related systems- Coordinate purchasing by creating vendor purchase orders and tracking fulfillment- Support customers and internal teams by resolving questions with a proactive, solution-focused approach- Process over-the-counter transactions, including accurate credit card paymentsRequired qualifications/skills: - High school diploma or equivalent- Strong written/verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail- Comfortable multitasking, meeting deadlines, and using Microsoft 365 and business software- Basic math/cashiering and accurate typingApply today to grow with a supportive team and build a solid foundation in customer service and order entry.Daily Workflow SnapshotYour day begins by reviewing incoming activity—calls, emails, and customer portal orders—then organizing priorities so urgent requests are handled first. As you work through the queue, you’ll build and revise quotes, confirm details, and enter orders in P21 with the accuracy required for sealing product solutions. You’ll also create vendor purchase orders and follow up on lead times so customers receive clear, timely updates. Between tasks at your workstation, you’ll support walk-in customers at the counter by preparing pickup documentation and processing credit card payments.
