Registered Nurse - (Cardiac Rehabilitation) - Full Time Days

Job Description Responsible for directing the care and progress of patients in the Inpatient and Outpatient Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs. Reviews medical records, selects pertinent data to initiate and implement patient‑specific plan of care. Collaborates with other health‑care team members in planning patient’s care. Implements exercise prescriptions mindful of their risk stratification. Assesses physiologic responses to exercise, including vital signs, telemetry rhythm, and subjective patient responses. Adjusts exercise levels as indicated or appropriate. Utilizes the Nursing Process in a collaborative manner to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with the scope of practice. Supports goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within the St. Joseph’s Healthcare System and on the assigned unit. Qualifications Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Registered Nurse licensure required by the State of New Jersey. Successful completion of department‑specific orientation, certification of AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) at hire, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months. Telemetry experience preferred.
