A pharmacy technician role within a retail HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy is available in North Las Vegas, NV. This full-time, contract-to-hire position is ideal for candidates with a strong commitment to patient care in a specialized pharmacy setting. The role begins ASAP with a 13-week contract duration and offers a consistent schedule from Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process low volume prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Perform data entry tasks supporting pharmacy operations
- Dispense medications adhering to safety and compliance standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain high standards of patient support and care in the HIV/AIDS specialty environment
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Nevada Pharmacy Technician license required
- Experience working in an HIV/AIDS dispensing environment preferred—please confirm your background in this area
- Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with patients and healthcare providers
- Demonstrated reliability with punctual attendance and a positive attitude
