We are seeking a Manager, Corporate Development (M&A) to join our highly active Mergers & Acquisitions team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage multiple acquisition projects while partnering closely with senior leaders across UnitedHealth Group and executives from target organizations. What You'll Do Evaluate acquisition opportunities, including business models, strategic fit, growth potential, and key financial drivers Develop valuation analyses, synergy assessments, DCF models, comparable company analyses, and accretion/dilution models Lead cross-functional due diligence efforts, partnering with internal subject matter experts to assess risks and validate investment opportunities Conduct financial diligence to evaluate earnings quality, performance trends, and transaction assumptions Review transaction terms with financial implications and provide recommendations to support negotiation strategies Present investment opportunities, diligence findings, and transaction risks to senior executives and business leaders Research industry trends, growth opportunities, and potential acquisition targets across the healthcare landscape Serve as a key liaison between business leaders, external advisors, and target companies Mentor and develop junior team members while fostering strong business and financial acumen Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field 6+ years of M&A experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Transaction Advisory Services Experience leading multiple transaction workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Strong financial and accounting expertise, including quality of earnings, working capital, cash flow analysis, and GAAP reporting Advanced valuation, forecasting, and transaction modeling experience Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations Ability to travel as needed Preferred Qualifications CFA, CPA, or MBA Healthcare industry transaction experience Why Join Us? The salary for this role will range from $134,600 - $230,800 annually based on full-time employment.
