Long Term Care LPN Job Title: Long Term Care LPN Profession: LPN-LVN Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must have a state license/Multistate at time of application Certifications: IV certification required, AHA BLS required, AHA ACLS preferred Must-Have: Professional communication skills Ability to handle patients and staff members respectfully Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills Proficient computer skills Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn Description: Long Term Care LPN needed for night shifts. Shifts are 6pm to 6am, with a schedule of 6 shifts on followed by 8 shifts off. 36 hours per week are guaranteed. The unit consists of 17 beds, similar to a Long Term Care Unit. Every other weekend is required. Candidates will work holidays that fall within their shift rotation. There are no float requirements or on-call duties. Nursing ratios are 1 nurse to 12 patients. Scrubs should appear professional, clean, and in good repair, without specific color requirements. Hoodies are not allowed, and closed-toe shoes are required. Jewelry and body adornments must comply with policy, maintaining a professional appearance. Hair must be well-groomed and tied back, and fingernails should be clean and trimmed. Smooth jewelry with no exposed stones is permitted in patient care areas, with small stud earrings as an exception. Strong perfumes and colognes are not allowed.
