Role Overview

As a Cardiac-Vascular Sonographer, you will perform both cardiac and vascular ultrasound studies while supporting providers in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing cardiac and vascular ultrasound/Doppler diagnostic testing
• Obtaining high-quality images and diagnostic studies
• Assisting physicians and healthcare professionals during patient evaluations
• Ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and imaging standards
• Supporting all aspects of clinical care related to cardiovascular imaging
• Maintaining imaging equipment and ensuring operational readiness
• Providing exceptional patient care and education throughout the testing process
• Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
• Functioning independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications

Education Required: Technical School completion in Echocardiography, Ultrasound, or related cardiovascular imaging program Preferred: Associate's Degree Experience Required: Two (2) years of ultrasound experience specializing in both Cardiac and Vascular imaging Preferred: Five (5) years of ultrasound experience

Licensure / Certification

Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) Required cardiac and vascular registry credentials must be obtained within one (1) year of hire if not currently held
