Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit - NightsThis is a 20-week contract position.Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a combined medical-surgical telemetry unit with a focus on higher acuity cases. The role requires strong experience in critical care and telemetry nursing.Monitor and manage patients with various diagnoses including CHF, ECOPD, NSTEMI, and sepsis.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure patient safety.Effectively communicate with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated patient care.Handle high-acuity patients and perform advanced nursing procedures.Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.Must have an active RN license in Maryland or a compact state.BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.2 years of strong telemetry and PCU experience preferred.CPI certification is required.Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and central line care/management is required.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
