Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, and play a key part in ensuring accuracy across our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
• Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for key fluctuations
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and internal reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency within accounting workflows

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 2-5 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (ERP experience a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
