Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1860 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• No current placement allowed at Program: Nashville General Hospital - Direct.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read telemetry strips.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years or more of experience in the past three years preferred.

Special Requests: After three callouts, the contract will be termed. Holiday RTO not approved; one holiday off will be selected at random. Refrain from requesting a lot of time off. Cannot request all holidays off.

Unit Details: Forensics Med-Surg/Telemetry unit caring for the incarcerated population. Charge or preceptor responsibilities may be required.

Shift & Scheduling: No set schedule. Weekend availability required. Must be able to work holidays.

Floating Requirements: Floating is required within the candidate’s scope of practice.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or the alternative certification MAB
