Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Tulsa Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare. Responsibilities:

• Provides certified nursing assistant services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans, facility policies, and procedures

• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding

• Lifts, transfers, and repositions residents using proper body mechanics and equipment

• Celebrates residents' dignity and independence while ensuring their safety and well-being

• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of resident care and services

• Participates in care conferences and provides input on resident care plans

• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery

• Reports changes in resident condition, concerns, or issues to the nursing staff and supervisor

• Demonstrates a commitment to quality care, customer service, and teamwork

Requirements:

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in long-term care

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Physical stamina to perform the duties of the position, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Additional Skills and Traits:

• Ability to work beyond normal working hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary

• Positive interpersonal relationship skills, including with persons of all ages and cultures

• Basic computer skills, including ability to navigate electronic medical record systems

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities

• Strong attendance and punctuality record

Working Conditions:

• May be subject to falls, burns, and/or odors throughout the day

• Encounter reactions from dust, tobacco smoke, disinfectants, and other air contaminants

• Subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, and/or conditions

• May work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions

• Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, and stoop for extended periods
