Medical City Denton Radiology Technologist Extern PRN Medical CityDenton, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist Extern. The role offers opportunities to gain hands‑on experience while supporting patients and the clinical team. Responsibilities Prepare patients for imaging by obtaining histories, verifying identities, and assisting with positioning. Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and team members. Safely transport patients between areas, ensuring their comfort and emotional needs. Set up imaging rooms, manage turnover, and organize supplies to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment. Serve as a vital connection between patients, technologists, and the care team by communicating needs and concerns promptly. Participate in learning opportunities and adhere to safety and confidentiality standards. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, obtained within 30 days of employment start date (NCTR). Non-certified Radiological Technicians Registry certification, obtained within 90 days of employment start date. Graduation from a vocational school or equivalent educational program.
