Summary The Department of Family and Community Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (Family and Community Medicine‑BCM) is seeking a primary care provider faculty member to join our team, which is committed to providing care to diverse and underserved populations in the Greater Houston and Harris County area. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity, if desired, to participate in academic activities which support medical student education and research. This position will provide direct patient care services at the Northwest Health Center, one of our affiliate facilities. Currently this facility is designated as a patient‑centered medical home by NCQA and provides comprehensive medical services. Job Duties Duties include direct patient care, if desired, educating medical students, and participating in clinical research. For FCM faculty, it is essential to support evidence‑based medicine with an emphasis on outcome‑based analysis, which can be acquired throughout this facility. Serving as an adult medicine inpatient attending or serving as an attending on our obstetric service is preferred. Minimum Qualifications Education Required: M.D. or D.O. Experience: Residency training in Family Medicine. No prior practice experience is required.
