Specialty: Physician - Neonatology
Location: Wichita, KS
Shift: Combination of 8- and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule; approximately 170 hours/month of in-house coverage
Position Details:
Patient Population: Neonatal and critically ill newborn patients
Setting: Level III, 60-bed NICU
Responsibilities: Provide neonatal care, participate in team-based management and quality improvement, provide in-house call, and collaborate with residents and nurse practitioners.
Support Staff: Residents and nurse practitioners
Days Per Month: Approximately 170 hours of in-house coverage per month
On-Call/Weekends: In-house call and backup call from home
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship working toward BC) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Kansas license or willing to obtain; fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days; DEA required prior to start
