Imagine owning the last line of defense between a product and the road. As our Quality Assurance Technician — Body Glass and Windshield Testing, you’ll transform raw data into confidence by validating every critical attribute of laminated automotive glass.

Your impact

1. Source and section windshield samples to create compliant test pieces.
2. Set up and run fragmentation, robustness (as needed), and performance tests—distortion, moisture, pummel, light transmission, boil, ball drop, and opacity.
3. Verify water softener performance on each windshield line to protect test accuracy.
4. Trigger and complete follow-up testing on any non-conforming results, documenting findings.
5. Execute additional validations for European and Asian market parts.

What we’re looking for

• At least 1 year of lab-based testing experience; background in glass manufacturing is a plus.
• Knowledge of ANSI standards and awareness of European and Asian market standards.
• Ability to read/execute test specifications and apply understanding of tempered glass and windshield standards.
• Intermediate Excel and Word skills; capable of organizing data, identifying trends, and preparing reports for internal/external use.

When you’ll work

• Alternative schedules including 12-hour shifts.
• Overtime as needed beyond 40 hours per week; some weekends and holidays may be required.

What you’ll receive

• Pay up to $21.15/hour with Weekly Pay.
• Sign on Bonus - $1500 and a Shift commitment bonus $2 per hour (40 - perfect attendance).
