What Youll Need:

• Current and valid Minnesota LPN license
• Prior experience in pediatric nursing, trach care, or a school environment is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and compassionate in a dynamic educational setting
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and promoting student dignity and independence

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct one-on-one care for a student with a tracheostomy throughout the school day
• Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to any health concerns or emergencies
• Administer prescribed medications and perform required nursing procedures per established protocols
• Communicate student needs and progress with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate health records and daily documentation
• Support the student in accessing the school curriculum and participating fully in school activities
