Your future role at a glance Location: Panama City, FL Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Department: Operating Room Schedule: Day shift | Full-time | 8 or 10 hour shifts available | Call, holidays and weekends required How you'll make an impact in this role Deliver high-quality nursing care throughout the endoscopy experience by assessing, monitoring, and supporting patients before, during, and after procedures. Prepare patients and procedure rooms efficiently to ensure safe, timely care and smooth daily procedural flow. Monitor patient condition closely during procedures and recovery and respond quickly to changes in status or complications. Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and procedural teams to support safe, coordinated care and positive patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and follow‑up care to promote understanding, comfort, and successful recovery. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi‑state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required. What additional requirements you'll need Endoscopy or Operating Room experience.
