Real Estate Attorney - Development & Condominium
TrueSeek
Every condominium project starts as a plan and a piece of land. Getting it from there to a functioning community takes an attorney who understands both the deal and everything that comes after it: the documents that create the project, the rules that govern it, and the regulators watching it. This role puts you at the center of that work for developers who need someone they can trust from day one through turnover.
If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.
What You'll Own
- Represent developers across every stage of their real estate transactions, from early structuring through the creation and sale of condominium and homeowners' projects
- Draft the governing documents that bring a project to life, including declarations, bylaws, and disclosure materials, and build them so they hold up long after the last unit closes
- Guide developers through the governance side of their projects, from developer control of the association through the handoff to owners
- Keep clients ahead of a regulatory landscape that has changed significantly for Florida condominiums in recent years, and translate new requirements into practical steps
- Run multiple matters at once with real independence, keeping clients and your team in the loop so nothing stalls
- Become the advisor developers call before they make a move, and the one they bring back for the next project
Environment
You'll join a collaborative Florida business law firm with offices across the state and a team that genuinely works together. Partners invest time in mentoring, attorneys are trusted with meaningful responsibility early, and a dedicated business development team helps you grow your practice when you're ready to.
What You Bring
You've spent real time on the developer side of the table, and condominium work is a core part of your practice. You draft with precision, counsel with confidence, and can take a complex governance or regulatory question and turn it into a clear answer a developer can act on. You're detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable owning matters without someone looking over your shoulder. A strong academic background is expected.
A book of business is welcome but not required. Florida Bar admission is preferred, but if you're licensed elsewhere and ready to make the move, the firm will fully support you through preparing for and passing the Florida Bar exam. Spanish is a plus.
Why This Role
This is a priority hire, and the firm is ready to move now. You'll step straight into sophisticated developer work, with the support of a firm that wants its attorneys to build lasting practices. xuwmhxw If condominium and development work is what you do best and you're looking for the right platform to grow it, let's talk.
