School Nurse (LPN) - New Oxford, Pennsylvania

Requirements to succeed in this contract assignment:

• Current and valid LPN license
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Ability to attend and provide care during school field trips
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and educators
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following both healthcare and school protocols

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering attentive one-on-one care to a student with individualized medical needs throughout the school day
• Monitoring health status, administering medication, responding to emergencies, and keeping meticulous documentation
• Partnering with teachers, administrators, and parents to support both health and academic success
• Ensuring all healthcare activities comply with state regulations and school policies
• Adapting to new situations and environments while accompanying students on off-campus activities
