**Join Our Team as a Cardiac Superstar!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to take your career to the next level in the exciting world of cardiovascular technology? - As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians with groundbreaking invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures, including temporary and permanent pacemaker placements. - You will also be instrumental in the management of circulatory support devices, such as IABP and Impella, helping to save and improve lives! **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare and organize specific equipment and sterile trays for each procedure. - Assist the procedure room team with patient positioning and monitoring. - Calibrate and test transducers for precise pressure readings. - Support physicians throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures. - Load and operate power injectors and related sterile equipment. - Maneuver the table controls for physicians as requested; Radiology Technologist will assist with fluoroscopy. - Calibrate hemodynamic monitoring equipment and analyze critical data. - Calculate and record cardiac output and oximetry readings. - Utilize digital cine technologies for image storage and retrieval. - Aid with vascular access and ensure proper hemostasis at access sites. - Manage inventory control and equipment preparation for procedures. - Adhere to Clinical Cardiovascular Information Systems (CVIS) protocols. - Ensure safe operation and maintenance of all equipment. - Participate in catheterization lab on-call responsibilities. **Requirements:** - Experience in Cath Lab/Electrophysiology (EP) is a must. - Strong knowledge of electrophysiology intra-procedure mapping, ablation, and implant devices. - Required sterile scrub techniques for a safe surgical environment. **Skills Needed:** - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite. **Education:** - Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program, OR - Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program, OR - Associates degree in Applied Science (AAS). **Certifications:** - AHA BLS certification. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 3 months of employment. - Must pass RCIS exam by CCI or obtain Radiologic Technologist License within 1 year of hire. **Schedule:** - 11AM - 7:30PM or 9AM - 7:30PM - Flexibility with shifts: 5x8hr or 4x10s - Weekends and holidays as needed - On-call required **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
