Senior Manager, Clinical Programs

Leica Biosystems seeks a Senior Manager to lead clinical trial execution for diagnostic and medical device programs globally. This remote leadership role oversees multiple clinical studies, manages a team of study managers, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates across functional areas to drive program success.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and guidance for multiple clinical studies across Digital Pathology, IHC/ISH, Companion Diagnostics, and Medical Device programs
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of clinical study managers to ensure high-quality study execution
• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, SOPs, and study protocols
• Manage program timelines, budgets, and resources while identifying and mitigating execution risks
• Oversee site selection and management to meet contractual obligations and quality standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field with 7+ years clinical research experience; or Master's/PhD with 5+ years
• 4+ years direct leadership experience managing clinical study managers
• In-depth knowledge of clinical study execution in diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries for US/EU markets
• Ability to identify and resolve complex clinical trial conduct and scientific interpretation issues
• Critical review and interpretation skills for scientific and clinical trial data
• Strong leadership, written and verbal communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Compensation: $145,000-$175,000 base
