Pay: $25.00–$27.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Area: Palm Beach County
OSC is seeking an experienced Skilled Block Mason to work on construction projects throughout South Florida. The ideal candidate must have professional experience installing concrete blocks and be able to complete masonry work accurately, safely, and efficiently.
This position moves between jobsites. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel from Miami-Dade County to West Palm Beach , depending on project needs.
Responsibilities
- Install concrete blocks according to project specifications
- Lay out, level, align, and plumb block walls
- Mix, spread, and apply mortar
- Measure and cut blocks as needed
- Read measurements and follow jobsite instructions
- Inspect completed work for proper alignment and quality
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all jobsite safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous professional experience installing concrete blocks is required
- Strong knowledge of block laying and masonry techniques
- Ability to properly level, align, and plumb block walls
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing to travel between jobsites throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County
- May be required to provide basic masonry tools, including trowels, levels, measuring tape, mason’s line, and jointers
- Ability to perform physically demanding construction work
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
This is a skilled position and is not intended for entry-level masonry helpers.
