MEP EngineerLocation: Youngstown, OH, USASalary: $120,000 - $220,000 (Based on Experience)Position OverviewWe are seeking an MEP Engineer to oversee the design, installation, and field coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for high-reliability data center projects. In this on-site role, you will drive interdisciplinary BIM/MEP coordination, ensure strict adherence to mission-critical design specs, and manage commissioning activities to keep projects on schedule and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and review MEP system designs, schematics, and submittals for mission-critical data center facilities.Lead 3D BIM/Revit clash detection and trade coordination with architects, structural engineers, and trade subcontractors.Manage site inspections and field installation to ensure compliance with engineering standards, building codes (NEC, NFPA, IBC), and project specifications.Coordinate load calculations, power distribution, HVAC cooling solutions, and fire protection requirements tailored to data centers.Support system testing, balancing, and commissioning (Level 1-5) for mission-critical power and cooling infrastructure prior to handover.Respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, resolve site conflicts, and maintain quality control throughout construction.Qualifications4+ years of MEP engineering/construction experienceBachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering.Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.Working knowledge of HVAC system design, electrical distribution, lighting and controls, plumbing systems and fire protection systems.Familiarity with design and construction requirements for Data Centers, Biotech/Pharma facilities and Commercial Construction projects.PE (Professional Engineer), PMP, and/or LEED accreditation PreferredCandidates who fill out the skills and questions will be the first candidates reviewed!BenefitsFull Benefits Included
