Physical Therapist

CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate, licensed Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. In this role, you will evaluate and treat a diverse caseload using evidence-based interventions to restore function, mobility, and quality of life. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, providing manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, educating patients and families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Evaluate patients using standardized tests to assess strength, range of motion, balance, and functional mobility Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities as appropriate Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, prevention, and self-management Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the EMR accurately and timely Collaborate with physicians, occupational and speech therapists, and other team members on coordinated plans of care Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical judgment Participate in case conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical education activities Supervise and mentor PTAs, aides, and students as appropriate Uphold CORA's patient-first culture, safety standards, and professional ethics Orthopedic assessment and treatment Therapeutic exercise prescription Manual therapy techniques Neuromuscular re-education Balance and gait training Pain management interventions Post-surgical rehabilitation Pediatric and/or geriatric rehabilitation (outpatient) Use of physical therapy modalities (e-stim, ultrasound, heat/cold) Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Patient and family education Care plan development and progression Functional movement analysis Interdisciplinary collaboration Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active state Physical Therapist (PT) license Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree Current CPR/BLS certification Experience with outpatient orthopedic caseloads Dry needling or manual therapy certification (preferred) Board certification in Orthopaedic or Sports Physical Therapy (preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
