Job Description The RN Perioperative OR Coordinator II is the first‑level management who supervises staff and coordinates the business aspects of a per‑operative department. Responsibilities include supervising one or more areas of the OR department, overseeing day‑to‑day operations, strategic planning, project management, budgeting, and financial operations. Responsibilities Supervise one or more areas of the OR department, including up to two or more professional or support staff. Provide day‑to‑day guidance and support to staff and contribute input on hiring, firing, and promotion decisions. Coordinate strategy, project management, budget planning, oversight, and financial operations for the department. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or enrollment in a Bachelor's Nursing program with anticipated completion within 2 years. Minimum two years of work experience within the operating room, excluding the orientation period. Registered nurse license issued by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
