As a Revenue Cycle Manager, you will provide strategic direction and operational oversight for key revenue cycle functions, including payor audits, denial management, reimbursement, billing, and collection processes. You will be accountable for driving timely, accurate, and compliant performance while implementing systems, workflows and controls that improve efficiency, accelerate cash, and support sustainable revenue recovery. You will help advance patient-first care through strategic operational leadership, financial stewardship and continuous improvement. In this high-impact role, you will lead teams and initiatives that strengthen reimbursement performance, reduce financial risk, and support the organization’s commitment to excellence, integrity, and service.This leader will play a critical role in advancing denial prevention, payer audit governance, and mitigation strategies across varied denial spaces. The position will focus on improving initial and incoming denial performance, strengthening payer audit response and oversight, reducing avoidable write-offs, decreasing cycle times, lowering A/R days and reinforcing end-to-end accountability across operational teams and cross-functional partners.A caregiver in this role works remotely from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. To be considered for this position, candidates must reside in Florida, Ohio or Nevada. A caregiver who excels in this role will:Drive denial prevention and mitigation strategies across administrative and additional documentation denials, while providing leadership oversight for payer audit operations, responses, and related risk mitigation.Oversee centralized claim review, controllable loss workflows, quality specialist functions.Drive root-cause analysis, appeals strategy, reimbursement optimization and sustainable reduction of avoidable denials and financial risk.Use data, reporting and performance metrics to identify trends, monitor operational health and translate insights into action.Partner across Revenue Cycle, Clinical Operations, Compliance, HIM/CDI, Payer Relations and other stakeholders to resolve barriers and improve outcomes.Lead process improvement, standardization, workflow redesign and mitigation plans that improve quality, productivity and timeliness.Manage complex payer escalations, reimbursement risks and high-impact operational issues with sound judgment and executive-level communication.Develop high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, workforce planning, succession planning and caregiver engagement.Promote regulatory compliance, payer requirement adherence, audit readiness and documentation integrity across assigned areas.Lead through change by building accountability, strengthening collaboration and reinforcing a culture of continuous improvement.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in a hospital or multi-hospital systemOR an Associate’s degree and three years of experienceOR a High School diploma/GED and five years of experienceOR five years of successful Revenue Cycle Management experienceKnowledge of third-party hospital billing, contractual and compliance regulations, hospital billing practices, HIM processesPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Progressive leadership experience managing large, remote and/or geographically dispersed teams.Revenue cycle leadership experience with demonstrated oversight of denials management, reimbursement optimization, centralized operations and quality assurance/performance improvement programs.Experience leading administrative, clinical and additional documentation denial strategies, centralized claim review, controllable loss workflows and quality specialist oversight.Strong understanding of denial prevention, appeals management, payer requirements, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, documentation integrity and reimbursement risk mitigation.Demonstrated ability to use analytics, reporting and performance metrics to monitor denial trends, evaluate operational performance and inform executive-level decisions.Experience leading change management initiatives, process standardization, workflow redesign, mitigation plans and technology implementations.Proven ability to develop talent, manage performance, plan workforce needs and build succession strength across teams.Experience managing escalations involving complex payer issues, audit activity and high-impact reimbursement risks.Strong collaboration and relationship-management skills with clinical, operational, Revenue Cycle, Compliance, Payer Relations and executive stakeholders.Physical Requirements:Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment. In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system. In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum Annual Salary: $76,540.00Maximum Annual Salary: $116,747.50The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
