Principal Investigator (MD/DO) – Flexible Engagement Options

A growing and well-established clinical research organization is seeking a board-certified MD or DO to join its research team as a Clinical Research Investigator. This opportunity is ideal for physicians with a background in general medicine and/or metabolic specialties who are interested in expanding their involvement in clinical research and working on innovative studies across multiple therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator on clinical trials
• Provide medical oversight and ensure protocol compliance
• Review study eligibility and assess potential participants
• Oversee patient safety, adverse event reporting, and protocol adherence
• Ensure accurate and compliant study documentation
• Collaborate closely with clinical operations, coordinators, sponsors, and IRBs
• Support overall site quality, enrollment, and regulatory readiness initiatives

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required - Family Medicine, Internal Medicine preferred - other specialties will be considered
• Active and unrestricted medical license
• Board certification within specialty area
• Prior clinical research / Principal Investigator experience preferred
• Strong interest in clinical development and patient-focused research

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary model with opportunity for bonus (pro-rated for part time engagement)
