Senior IT Support Specialist

Salary: $65,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 3 years of professional, hands-on IT support experience in a business environment.
• Strong Windows 10 and Windows 11 troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience supporting or administering Microsoft 365.
• Experience managing users, groups, permissions, licensing, and access; onboarding employees; and preparing and deploying computers.
• Experience troubleshooting endpoint, application, identity, and connectivity issues, and documenting work in a ticketing or service management system.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and involve others when appropriate.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Conditional Access, endpoint security, cybersecurity, or regulated environments is especially valuable. Certifications are welcome but not required.
• Demonstrated technical judgment, curiosity, dependability, patience, ownership, and commitment to clear documentation, established processes, continued learning, and quality work.
• Successful completion of applicable ITP background screening and required client personnel security screening is a condition of employment.

• Provide responsive, professional end-user support and own support issues through resolution.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, business applications, devices, connectivity, printing, access, and other technology issues.
• Onboard and offboard employees accurately and securely; create and configure user accounts, licenses, groups, permissions, and access.
• Prepare, configure, deploy, replace, and support Windows computers and other devices.
• Support Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, multifactor authentication, and related technologies.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot business applications.
• Follow established endpoint, identity, access, security, configuration, onboarding, offboarding, and device procedures; protect identities, systems, information, and access.
• Document tickets, configurations, changes, issues, and resolutions clearly and consistently.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve processes; raise concerns, exceptions, or risks when needed.
• Communicate status, risks, blockers, and completed work clearly, and coordinate with our team, client IT personnel, vendors, and users.

We are IT Productivity (ITP), and we are seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist for hands-on end-user support, onboarding, and device deployment in a security-conscious client environment that handles Controlled Unclassified Information. This is a full-time, onsite position at an ITP client location in Rockville, Maryland; it is not remote or hybrid.
