Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDispatcherKlapec Trucking | Full-Time | In-Person Klapec Trucking Company is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Dispatcher to join our transportation team. The dispatcher will coordinate drivers, loads, routes, and schedules while maintaining strong communication with customers, drivers, and management.The ideal candidate can work in a fast-paced environment, solve problems quickly, and keep multiple loads moving efficiently and on schedule.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily dispatch operations and driver schedulesAssign loads to company driversPlan efficient routes and monitor driver progressCommunicate with drivers throughout their tripsCoordinate pickup and delivery appointmentsCommunicate professionally with customers, brokers, shippers, and receiversTrack loads and provide timely status updatesHandle delays, breakdowns, traffic issues, and other transportation problemsMaintain accurate records of loads, mileage, hours, and delivery informationReview and manage required shipping and transportation documentsMonitor Hours of Service (HOS) and help ensure company and DOT complianceMaximize equipment and driver utilizationAssist with rate negotiations and load scheduling when neededProvide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptlyQualificationsPrevious trucking, transportation, logistics, or dispatch experience preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of transportation routes and logisticsComfortable using computers, phones, GPS, and dispatch/logistics softwareAbility to make quick decisions and solve problems under pressureStrong attention to detailProfessional and dependable work ethicKnowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service is a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive payHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchVacation timeStable, year-round employmentOpportunities for growth and advancementSupportive team environmentHow to ApplyIf you're an organized and motivated professional who enjoys the fast-paced world of trucking and logistics, we'd like to hear from you.
