Senior Tax Accountant

Austin, TX (North Austin/Round Rock Area) | Direct Hire $100,000 - $125,000 + Growth Opportunity LHH Recruitment Solutions (formerly Accounting Principals) LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established, growing public accounting firm in the Austin area to identify a Senior Tax Accountant who is interested in long-term career growth and a potential partnership track opportunity . This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional who enjoys working closely with clients, handling complex tax engagements, and contributing to a collaborative, small-firm environment. Responsibilities Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines Perform tax research and provide recommendations regarding federal and state tax matters Assist clients with tax planning strategies and compliance initiatives Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and information requests Review financial information and identify tax-saving opportunities Support partners with advisory projects and special client engagements Mentor and assist junior staff as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or EA designation required, or actively pursuing certification with significant progress toward completion 5+ years of public accounting tax experience Experience preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, corporate, and trust returns Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills High attention to detail and commitment to client service Self-starter with a strong work ethic and desire for long-term professional growth Preferred Background Experience working in a small to mid-sized CPA firm Exposure to tax planning and advisory services Interest in developing client relationships and growing into a leadership role Desire to pursue a long-term career path with partnership potential $100,000 - $125,000 base salary, depending on experience Partnership-track opportunity 401(k) plan with employer match Paid time off Stable and growing client base Direct exposure to firm leadership Opportunity to expand into advisory and consulting engagements Why Consider This Opportunity?
