Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-5:00 PM | No Weekends

Who are we? 

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Bronx, New York who can independently complete repairs and handle check engine light diagnostics. This position offers $70,000-$110,000+ annually with a Monday-Friday schedule and no weekends. The shop services cars, fleet vehicles, and light-duty diesel trucks under 18,000 pounds and needs a productive technician who can help move a strong workload through the shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose check engine lights and other vehicle concerns.
• Perform automotive diagnostics and identify needed repairs.
• Complete mechanical repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Service and repair cars, fleet vehicles, and light-duty diesel trucks under 18,000 pounds.
• Perform vehicle programming as needed.
• Use diagnostic equipment and scan tools to troubleshoot vehicle concerns.
• Communicate repair findings and needed parts or services clearly to the team.
• Work independently on assigned repairs while collaborating with experienced team members when additional support is needed.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on automotive repair experience with the ability to complete repair work independently.
• Experience diagnosing check engine light concerns.
• Ability to use automotive diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Experience with vehicle programming.
• Experience servicing cars and light-duty diesel trucks.
• Ability to identify needed repairs and communicate findings clearly.
• NY State / Safety Inspection License required.
