A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:

Project setup and maintenance per contracted terms Analyzing and processing weekly/monthly invoices for client submittal - lump sum, time & material, percentage-of-completion basis with a strong emphasis on fixed rate schedules Preparing spreadsheet invoices including detailed backup documentation, detailed timesheet reports, etc. Updating and submitting monthly compliance reports Archiving documents and record management for project files, client agreements, and subconsultant contracts Monitoring and analyzing sub-consultants and intercompany invoices, contracts and insurance certificates to ensure contract compliance and company policies and procedures Assisting Project Managers and Collections group with resolving outstanding AR issues Reviewing Accounts payables reports, coding entry, tracking and submitting payments per contracted terms Performing revenue and job cost analysis Working directly with various project managers, administrative support and management Completing special projects as requested by a supervisor or manager

REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ years of experience in a billing position Intermediate experience with Excel and Microsoft Office

IDEALLY, YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE:

Experience with billing for public/government clients is a plus Experience with ERP project-based accounting systems Deltek, Unanet, or BST Global is a plus Experience with invoice submittal via client portals is a plus. Experience in the Engineering or Construction industry is a plus Ability to work with confidential information
