HIGH-LEVEL OVERVIEW

The Senior Import Analyst is asubject matter expert who is responsible for managing and processing customsentries submissions efficiently, ensuring imports are compliant with CBP andPGA rules and regulations.

This is a remote/hybrid position based near Champlain,NY.

EXPECTATIONS

• Review and input customs data while maintaining highaccuracy standards
• Prioritize and process high-urgency imports such asPAPS files to prevent shipment delays
• Monitor and resolve CBP and PGA holds, providingadditional information and coordinating exams
• Coordinate with carriers, terminals/CFS, andgovernment officers to schedule exams and submit ACE DIS documentation andAffirmations of Compliance
• Track ACE/ABI statuses, respond to FDA Notices ofAction and CF-28/CF-29 to expedite release
• Provide clear updates to customers and internalteams to expedite release of goods
• Conduct compliance checks against CBP, FDA, and PGAstandards
• Resourceful problem solver who works independentlyand escalates appropriately
• Communicate complex traderequirements clearly to customers to timely resolve issues

ESSENTIALS

• Licensed USCustoms Broker (LCB) required
• High school diploma required, bachelor's degreepreferred
• 5+ years of import brokerage experience
• Experience with Pre arrival processing system (PAPS),Ocean, Air, and ISF filings
• Expertise in HTS classification using GRIs,section/chapter notes, and valuation
• Knowledge of CBP, FDA, and PGA rules and regulations
• Proficiency with ACE, ABI, and customs brokeragesoftware
• Experience responding to CF-28 and CF-29 notices
• Strong data analyticsand technical acumen
