A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.The Journey Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A Journey MA-R performs all aspects of the Associate MA-R role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. A Journey MA-R is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.Required Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants OrGraduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program OrHas completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces OrMinimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration OrUpon hire: Washington Medical Assistant CertificationWithin 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association6 months Healthcare experience6 months Medical Assistant experienceMedical Assistant, Salary Range: Spokane, WA Min: $19.76, Max: $30.24$2,500 Sign-on Bonus for eligible rehire and external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $22.19/hr or higher depending on experience.Medical Assistant RegisteredRequired Qualifications:Within 60 days of hire Washington Medical Assistant RegistrationWithin 30 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association6 months Healthcare experience6 months Medical Assistant experiencePreferred Qualifications:Coursework/Training Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit Coordinator/ClerkMedical Assistant Registered, Salary Range: Spokane, WA Min: $17.39, Max: $26.07Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $20.91/hr or higher depending on experience.Why Join Providence?
